EuMo designed Reliance Jio’s workspaces as brand-led environments that translate strategy into everyday behaviour.
By embedding brand voice, core values and spatial narratives into functional zones, the workspaces improved collaboration, alignment and performance for a fast-scaling telecom workforce.

Workplace Experience Design
As Reliance Industries entered the telecommunications sector with the launch of Jio, it was introducing a new service which required a new way of working.
Jio’s ambition was to boldly deploy cutting-edge digital infrastructure at national scale, powered by a young, agile and highly mobile workforce operating under intense timelines and pressure. The corporate environments needed to activate energy, collaboration and speed, while clearly expressing a distinct brand personality from day one.
EuMo was engaged to translate Jio’s brand strategy of youthfulness, disruptiveness and future-forward thinking, into functional, high-performance workspaces that could scale with the organisation.

The challenge was performance enablement through space.
Jio’s teams were diverse, distributed and fast-moving. A top-down, decorative approach to branding would have failed to unify them or support productivity. The environments needed to embed brand voice into everyday behaviour, while remaining flexible enough for rapid growth and change.

The defining insight was clear —
The workspace experience must balance both organisational identity and human experience without compromising operational clarity.
EuMo approached the project by first engaging directly with cross-functional teams, understanding how they worked, collaborated and moved through space. This user-led understanding allowed us to translate strategy into spatial themes that people could experience intuitively.

Our Design Intelligence framework was applied through —
■ Strategy and storytelling through environmental graphics, ensuring it mirrored Jio’s momentum and ambition
■ Experience Design anchored in human behaviour, supporting visibility, comfort, wayfinding and interaction. Embedding brand voice into space through typography and messaging, using smart, concise language to reinforce purpose and energy
■ Bringing core values into functional zones, where collaboration hubs, circulation areas and breakout spaces each played a specific behavioural role
■ Brandscapes as unifying systems, using a master visual language inspired by Indian imagery and colour to create coherence across multiple locations
■ Integration of graphics, 3D elements, interactive features, signage and activations to sustain engagement and adaptability
The result was a living spatial system designed to support innovation, agility and community.

The Jio Workspaces delivered tangible organisational and business benefits, directly supporting the brand’s launch and scale-up phase.
Business & Performance Impact
■ Faster team alignment: Clear spatial narratives and consistent brand language helped new teams quickly understand Jio’s culture, priorities and way of working.
■ Improved collaboration: Purpose-designed value hubs and interaction zones increased informal exchange, cross-team visibility and collective problem-solving.
■ Stronger brand immersion: Employees experienced the brand daily through space, reinforcing consistency during rapid growth.
■ Scalable environment model: The brand-scape approach enabled replication across multiple workspaces without dilution, reducing redesign effort as Jio’s corporate footprint expanded.
Why investment mattered
By embedding brand strategy into functional environments, the workspaces became active contributors to performance. The design helped:
■ Accelerate cultural integration during a critical launch phase
■ Support high-intensity work without burnout through energising environments
■ Strengthen employee identification with a new, disruptive brand
This project demonstrates how spatial design impacts performance, by aligning people, purpose and place. For Jio, the workspaces functioned as a strategic infrastructure layer, supporting speed, collaboration and confidence as the organisation transformed India’s digital landscape.
