Films & Audio-Visuals
When Reliance Industries was invited to represent India as one of the country’s largest cross-sectoral conglomerates at the India Pavilion, Dubai Expo 2020 (held in 2021), the ambition was to bring India’s expertise to the World.
The objective was to communicate India’s scale, capability, and confidence to a global audience through a narrative that could unify diverse sectors, cultures, and stakeholders within one compelling voice. Reliance wanted to present itself as a modern, future-ready organisation while remaining deeply rooted in national purpose.
EuMo was engaged to design landmark event films and milestone audio-visuals that could
■ Create shared understanding across cultures
■ Establish global relevance
■ Communicate vision and ambition
■ Reinforce leadership credibility
■ Anchor long-term organisational goals
■ Demonstrate global impact and scalability
To be achieved within the intense timelines and expectations of a world exposition.

The challenge was a coherent storyline across a behemoth of diverse businesses.
Dubai Expo is a high-velocity, high-diversity environment where audiences move quickly, languages shift, and attention is scarce. Reliance’s story spanned multiple industries and philanthropic initiatives, risking fragmentation if told conventionally.
The defining insight was clear
At a global forum, films must balance emotion and corporate messaging without diluting either.
EuMo approached the project as a cinematic storytelling system, to be played in sequence such that they told one, big story but were individually strong.

EuMo’s Design Intelligence framework was applied through
■ Landmark event films structured to play across large-format screens and continuous loops
■ A unified visual language and cinematic style that could carry multiple narratives without inconsistency
■ Integrating motion graphics and data storytelling to make scale, reach, and impact immediately legible
■ Music, sound design, and emotional pacing to hold attention and create resonance across cultures
■ Layering modern industrial imagery with symbolic Indian art forms creating a distinctive intersection of tradition and technology

Drawing from regional arts and crafts across India, animation styles were curated and overlaid onto contemporary industrial narratives. This created a powerful visual metaphor: a billion aspirations powered by a nation-building enterprise.
The films were designed specifically for global conferences where clarity, tempo, and emotional pull determine effectiveness.
Business & Strategic Impact
■ Unified global narrative: The films presented Reliance’s diverse businesses and initiatives through one coherent story, making complexity understandable to international audiences.
■ Elevated leadership presence: Reliance was positioned as a credible, future-shaping organisation aligned with national ambition, reinforcing leadership stature at a global forum.
■ Cultural resonance at scale: By blending Indian cultural symbolism with cutting-edge industry visuals, the films created emotional connection without sacrificing corporate clarity.
■ Sustained visibility: A suite of 20 original audio-visuals ran across the Pavilion for six months, maximising the return on content investment beyond a single moment.
Well-designed milestone and event films act as strategic communication assets.
Delivered within a tight timeframe and ready for inauguration, the project demonstrated that cinematic storytelling can unify audiences, elevate keynote moments and translate corporate ambition into global impact.
